Rune Mat - Serpent
Rune Mats were created to enhance your Rune Practice. The traditional method of Rune casting is an ancient skill used for divination and magick. In modern days the Rune Layout has become extremely popular and useful as an everyday practice for divination.
Midgard Serpent is a Jörmungandr “Huge Monster” that is said to live in the ocean. The Serpent grew so large that he was able to surround the world and is able to bite his own tail. It is said when the Serpent lets go of his tail Ragnarök will begin; an important event resulting in the world beginning anew with only two human survivors who will repopulate.
This layout has a focus on the theme of the Serpent being able to bite his own tail, he controls the world beginning again when he decides to let go. It’s relative to our control over our individual choices. We must decide to bit our own tail or let it go and start new again. Use this Rune Layout to help you learn to let go.
