This book is a great resource for any beginning herbalist. Rosemary puts an emphasis on Know. Grow. Use. in this book. The start walks you through some herbal pharmacy basics. Growing a garden of remedies. The differences in the process of making infusions, decoctions, syrup, oil, solar infused oils, salves, tincture and pills. The rest of the book is broken up by herb. She dives deep into the herbs medicinal benefits and gives you several recipes to test out. Some of my personal favorites are: Four Thieves Vinegar, Brain Tonic, Cinnamon Bath Salt, Cough Syrup and Turmeric Curry.
Iām very glad a bought this book because I have a lot of the recipes flagged to make. The style and set up of this book was well thought out and easy to follow. I recommend this book and the recipes in it. This is a must have for Witches with a garden who want to learn more green magick and start a home-grown medicine cabinet. This book and practice makes me feel connected to the first magick makers of this world, those keepers of the plants and their secrets, who helped others with their knowledge.
